Toowong Private Hospital Update

David Kennedy, Andrew Hanson, Robyn Duggan, and Colby O’Brien of EY were appointed Voluntary Administrators (VAs) of N.A. Kratzmann & Sons Pty Ltd (Trading as Toowong Private Hospital) on 14 May 2025. Following their appointment, the Administrators initiated a sale process and commenced an urgent review of the company to assess its options.

Unfortunately, no viable expressions of interest have been received, and as a result, the hospital must now move to a wind-down plan. As a result of the wind down process, the Hospital is no longer admitting inpatients. 

The Administrators are working closely with admitting psychiatrists to determine the most appropriate courses of action on a case-by-case basis.

The Administrators express their gratitude for the tremendous support provided by staff, psychiatrists, government, and other stakeholders during this challenging time.
